There are so many options to follow when trying to eat healthy.
Right now, we're not eating overly healthy and it's something I want to change.
But where do I start?
There's no way we are going to be going vegetarian. We are definite meat eaters. I also can't see us eating pizza with a cauliflower crust. I want to make changes to help us all be healthier but ensure that my husband and the boys still have their favourite foods, like cereal, pasta and bread. Ok, some of those are my favourites too. I like me a good sandwich every now and then.
I'm also hoping to pick it up in the working out department and know that protein is beneficial with that so I have protein powder but what do I do with it? Since I work out from 4 - 5 in the afternoon and usually try to eat dinner around 6ish do I have a smoothie with some extra protein if needed then or what do I do?
Why is this all so confusing?
I honestly need a nutritionist, chef, grocery shopper and personal trainer all rolled into one.
The biggest thing that holds me back, and I am ashamed to say it, is time and pure laziness.
Found this which might help make a decision...but probably not (because I'm so indecisive)!
The last thing I want to do when I get home is make dinner. I've spent all day playing and working with 4 and 5 year olds, I come home to a 2 year old and a 4 year old who want to play and I want to interact with them, not stand in the kitchen and cook dinner while they play in the other room.
Any specific food approaches you like best? Any specific diets your follow?
