#MotivateMe Monday

I lose my motivation to work out about 35 times a week.

Break that down, that's about 5 times a day.

I'm really good at psyching myself up to work out and then crashing and burning pretty quickly.

I've let myself slack with my running to the point that I can barely run a sub - 35 minute 5K on the treadmill. Yikes!!!

So here's where I kick myself in the butt.

I'm running the Around the Bay 5K in at the end of March. March 29th to be exact. My goal for that race is to be sub 33:00. I'd love to be lower than that and potentially hit a PR but I'm seriously just hoping that my asthma doesn't kick my butt instead!


So here's my plan for the week:

Monday: 4 mile run on the treadmill
Tuesday: Abs, push-ups
Wednesday: Weights & a quick 20 minute run
Thursday: Abs, push-ups (or my first lap swim...eek!)
Friday: 5K on treadmill
Saturday: Rest
Sunday: weights and 4 miles on treadmill


Janice at Fitness Cheerleader posted a 30 day workout this morning called the Little Black Dress Challenge. I'm also going to be doing that for the next 30 days.

Fingers crossed it works out this week and I have a positive report next week!
