I hate {but love} food...

I've been MIA for a couple of days. Just really trying to take in some relaxing time during my March Break. I've done laundry, watched some TV, taken a nap. It's been great.

I even had to a chance to do some running. In the daylight. Actually, the sunlight because it's been gorgeous these past couple of days. Unfortunately, it looks like the gorgeousness is disappearing and we're expected to get 10-15 cm of snow tomorrow into Thursday. Yay?
I hate winter 2013

I'll update more on my runs on my 1/2 marathon training post, but I noticed that during my runs, my legs have been so tired. I know it's not from a lack of rest, clearly, but I think it's because I've been over-indulging, over-eating and choosing the wrong foods lately. Granted, not running isn't a great help, but I do need to get my food/eating in check.

This seems to be a common theme and I just can't figure it out!

I get things under control for awhile and then I lose it. For some reason, I'm stuck on  our 'basics' (i.e pasta, meatloaf, fajitas, etc.) and can't break from that. I also want to be sure that whatever I'm going to eat is going to be yummy, and I know that my staples (as The Husband calls them) are yummy.
I was planning on using my March Break to figure out some healthy foods and new meals to try to get my eating under control but every time I start, I give in too quickly and find something else to do.

I'm back up to around 160lbs, which is as high as I want to go.

I used to follow the mantra, "I Run to Eat", but I want to change that. I want to see food as my 'fuel', I just can't change my mind set over to thinking like that.

Just a little humor to lighten things up. If I had a running buddy today, this is probably what they would have been thinking. Slow legs and a very slow 4K (didn't even make the 5).
Funny Flirting Ecard: You're the one I want running beside me during the zombie apocalypse.

I need tips on how to deal with my eating! Any tips! Please!!
