Nike Women's 1/2 Marathon Training - Week #3

Hmmm, these updates are getting fairly similar.
No training this week again.

However, this week coming up, life is different.

I have a 5K on Saturday (which I'm very excited for)! I'm hoping that remembering how much fun I have in races will help me want to keep on with my training.

Luckily, I'm not horribly behind with the half marathon training.

The long run this weekend was supposed to be 6 miles (which I've done multiple times before). Catching back up to that will be pretty easy. I just need to stay on with my long runs and make sure I get in at least two other runs during the week (which can be tricky with the boys).

The part that sucks is that the weather is going to get cold again this week so I guess I'm going to have to bundle up but I'm more than determined to get myself out there and run. I'm also going to have to push through my fear of running in the dark again. My mind completely races and the thoughts don't stop, but maybe they help me run faster.

I'm going to go out for a quick run tonight to get things moving again.
