On Saturday, Andrew turned 8 months!
I honestly have lost track of time and where my snuggly little baby went.
He's starting to develop his own little personality and will definitely put up a fight when Joseph comes calling. They are starting to wrestle more and Andrew is holding his own. Unfortunately, now that he has his teeth, he's getting into biting. He's bitten my shoulder a couple times and he even bit me on my side.
He's into buttons. He constantly crawls up to the TV and DVD boxes and wants to push the buttons.I honestly don't know what the draw is about this but about 4 or 5 times a day I have to pull him away from it.
Andrew has so many bumps and bruises on his head. He either crawls into something, gets hit on the head by a toy because of Joseph and he still falls straight back sometimes when he's sitting. Now, he's starting to pull himself up using tables, chairs and toys. Of course, this leads to more bruises and lots of tears!
I can't wait to get him in the swimming pool. He absolutely loves the bathtub and when we went to the indoor waterpark he enjoyed being in the water. Hopefully soon it will be warm enough that we can hop into my parent's pool. I think he's going to be a little fish and it'll be hard to get him out.
He's figuring out the sippy cup really well. He's still nursing (yay 8 months!) and he loves his solids. We've added a little chicken, yogurt, cheese, blueberries and strawberries. He's also getting really good a picking up those little puffs. I'm thinking he'll be ready to go to daycare and eat there with no problem!
Sleep is still interesting. He's still up usually twice a night. The first wake up is usually just as I fall asleep and the second is typically 3:30 or 4am and then he's up anywhere between 7 and 8:30 for the day. Naps, still a mess, but we're surviving.
And of course, big brother had to get in on the pictures too!
