Resolutions for 2013



Everyone makes resolutions and most people end up breaking them fairly early in the year. That said, most of my resolutions have already been started. I also did not come up with a ton of them because I don't want to lose track or put too many expectations on myself.
1. Lose weight, more exercise, healthy eating

This is one that I have already started. I started out at 192 lbs and I'm down to 179 lbs. I'm hoping to get back down to 150 lbs. The rest of my goal/resolution goes along with losing weight. In order to do this, I have to exercise more and eat healthier. This is all leading up to my 5k in May!

2. Curb my spending
I like to shop for myself, but I really like to shop for the boys and the house. I need to stop spending especially since I'm on maternity leave with about half my regular income and that daycare is going to cost a fortune when I do have to go back in September.


3. Get organized
I have stuff everywhere and probably have more than I need. I sometimes end up with doubles of items as well. I need to get myself organized. I'm going to start while we get the house ready to sell, but I think another good chunk of organization will happen when we pack to move and unpack in a new house.
4. Focus more on my family
I want to spend more time with my family. Granted, I do spend a lot of time with them now I want to be more present when I am with them. I want to take the boys out to experience things I got to experience when I was little. I also want to focus on The Husband a little more and our relationship. We haven't spent much time without the boys since I don't even know when. I'm hoping that we can find some babysitters willing to take on the two boys so that we can spend some time together.
