Each Sunday marks the beginning of the next week of my fitness challenge.
Honestly, I'm slightly disappointed because I haven't seen the numbers on the scale dropping as much as I'd like.
I have a feeling I know why though.
I love to snack. The problem with my snacking is that it isn't always the healthy snacking. It's getting better, but previously I was snacking on crackers, chips, etc. I'm slowly trying to move it to veggies, fruit and yogurt but it's hard! The crappy stuff is so yummy! My biggest snacking time is after dinner, once the boys have gone to bed. I usually only have one snack, but it typically involves pop of some sort and something crappy. I need to cut this out! I think it's my biggest downfall right now.
However, last week, I did manage to work out 5 days out of the 7 (doing my videos) and my challenge workouts.
Last week's workout was some moves from the Brazilian Butt Lift program. My legs were incredibly sore after doing these!
This week, it's all about the arms. I started them last night and I did them all!
Even though I'm disappointed that I haven't seen the numbers moving, I can tell that I'm losing some inches. My jeans are a whole lot loser and I can actually get them off without un-doing the button and zipper. Also, I was able to get both rings on at the same time which is exciting. They haven't both been on my finger since I was about 15 weeks pregnant with A.
Lastly, I'm start the C25K program tonight with a friend. I've been wanting to start for awhile, but I was worried about running alone in the dark. She saw that I was signed up for the 5K and offered to begin running with me. She is more fit than I am, but we're both beginner runners so we're a good match! Now I finally get the chance to start training for my 5K in May!
