This week at Growing up Geeky's Toddle Tuesday is diapering. Come link up with us!
Diapering in my house is pretty basic. We use disposables. We use Pampers Cruisers with Sesame Street characters that help distract during diaper changes. J still has a little bum and is still in size 3. We also use Pampers Overnights to help prevent leaks (even though he wakes up most morning wet because he still drinks a ton before bed). It'll be the same with Baby Boy #2. He'll have to live in Pampers. I just can't keep up with the cleaning, washing and drying of cloth diapers.
I do have to note that I was planning on at least trying to cloth diaper and we had some in the closet in the nursery. I just never got around to figuring the whole process out as well as buying more than the 4 or 5 diapers I was given. Plus, I was totally overwhelmed with all the options.
Looking back, I wish I had given it a chance mostly because of the cute little diapers they have available. Alas, J has lived in disposables and so will Baby Boy #2. I try and will continue to try to make up for my lack of environmentalism in other ways.
