Canada Day Traditions

This week's Toddle Along Tuesday topic is July 4th Traditions. However, since I live in Canada. We'll discuss what we do up here!

I know I've discussed our Canada Day traditions previously but I'll just touch on them again and of course show off some more pictures of J "golfing".

Starting last year, we make our way over to a Ribfest thrown by our friends Matt and Miranda. Everyone is responsible for bringing ribs but we brought dessert and tuna salad instead. In previous years, there is a vote for the best ribs. Everyone wears red or white or something with a Canada "theme" and Miranda does a fantastic job of decorating the house.

I did live in Arizona for a year when I was younger and before I married The Husband, I'd usually head down there with my mom for July 4th. I definitely love the deals down there during that time. Plus, the fireworks are typically 10 times better than up here!

Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday!
